Three cases of pneumonia caused by a new type of coronavirus have been reported in Malaysia.

Malaysia has confirmed reports of three cases of a new type of coronavirus 2019-nCoV, the country’s health minister, Sulkifli Ahmad, said.

According to him, all of them are relatives of a sick 66-year-old Chinese man who arrived in Singapore on January 20 as part of a tourist group.

To date, 1,287 people have been infected with a new type of coronavirus 2019-nCoV in China, 41 people have died. Most of the cases were recorded in and around the capital of the central province of Hubei, Wuhani, as well as among those who visited the city.

The virus has spread abroad, including South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, USA, Australia, and France
