A powerful explosion occurred near a Catholic church in the Indonesian city of Makassar on the morning of March 28, the number of victims is being specified, citing sources in the local police, Reuters reports.
According to preliminary data, more than ten people were injured as a result of the explosion, some of the victims are in serious condition. At the time of the explosion, a service was going on in the church, there were many people inside the building.
Eyewitnesses speak of a terrorist attack involving a suicide bomber. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
