Navalny said that there are people who are willing to help pay for treatment, they will become known to the public.
The cost of treatment of the Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny in Berlin’s Charite clinic was €60-70 thousand, he said in an interview with Yuri Dudu.
“They haven’t issued a final invoice yet, because the physiotherapists and everything else, but I think, based on what we have seen before, it will be about 60 or 70 thousand euros,” he said.
Navalny noted that there are people who are willing to help pay for treatment. “For me, this money is huge, of course, I don’t have any €70,000 to pay for my treatment,” he said.
According to the opposition speaker, the sponsors of his treatment will become known to the public.
“We have set a condition – thank you very much, but you will have to disclose your names like Zimin, who paid for the plane … Everyone who is in a fold will participate in paying for treatment – they will give their names,” he said.
As reported, Navalny expressed confidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin is behind his poisoning. At the same time, the opposition activist stressed that he was not afraid and would return to Russia after the treatment.
The Kremlin speaker Dmitry Peskov called Navalny’s remarks offensive and said that Western special services, in particular the American CIA, were working with him.
