Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny was proposed for the Nobel Peace Prize. This was announced by Rutgers University Professor Sergei Erofeev on Facebook on Thursday, September 17.

“A number of professors of recognized universities, which are engaged in Russia, have nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize,” – wrote Erofeev.

He added that among the scientists supporting this idea there are those who previously had a negative attitude to Navalny, but changed their opinion.

At the same time, Erofeev explained in the Echo of Moscow comment that any professor of the corresponding profile could apply for the nomination.

Recall that earlier at Navalny showed where they found the poison that poisoned him. The poisoning substance Novichok was found on a bottle of water from which Navalny had been drinking before his flight from Tomsk, the FBK said.

It was also reported that the first photo of Navalny from the hospital appeared. The Russian opposition activist published the first post in Instagram since his hospitalization, telling about his well-being.
