Near the entrances to the supermarkets formed huge queues, sellers were leaving the shops and explaining to people that because of the power outage supermarkets stopped work.

Cash machines and ATMs also did not work. On the streets formed large traffic jams, because traffic lights did not work. In addition to turning off traffic lights, the cause of chaos on the roads was heavy rain with hail. That’s why the traffic controllers were quickly brought to the roads. Two hours later, and in some areas, the city was light.

At the tram stops you could see a message that public transport is not working.

In The Hague, the main public transport – trams. They stopped right in the middle of the road. The owners of electric cars were also left without transport. From time to time the Internet did not work in The Hague. The cause of the power outage is a short circuit at the main distribution station.
