New coronavirus infections on cruise ship in Japan

Three other passengers of the Diamond Princess cruise liner, which is quarantined in Japan, have been confirmed to have contracted a new type of coronavirus. This was announced on Saturday, February 8, Kyodo News reported, citing the Ministry of Health of Japan.

Thus, the number of cases on the ship increased to 64 people. The nationality of the patients has not yet been clarified.

Earlier it was reported about 61 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection.

Earlier it was reported that the Diamond Princess liner was quarantined in the port of Yokohama after one of its passengers was found to have coronavirus 2019-nCoV.

As you know, 25 Ukrainians are on board the blocked liner in Japan.
