New U.S. Secretary of State calls relations with China “the most important” in the world

The new U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called relations with China “the most important” in the world. He said this during a briefing, broadcast by the U.S. State Department.

“I think it’s no secret that the relationship between the United States and China is probably the most important relationship we have in the world,” Blinken said.

Earlier, the new head of the State Department said that the international community “needs leadership” from the United States.
