135 people arrested in the case

A search of the home of a member of the extremist Proud Boys organization who is accused of attacking the Capitol on Jan. 6 found bomb-making manuals.

According to court documents, Dominic Pezzola, 43, who lives near Rochester, N.Y., found manuals on how to make weapons and explosive devices. Pezzola, who was arrested in New York, will be held in custody pending trial because he “poses a danger to the community and may attempt to flee.”

For its part, the FBI reported that the bombs found near the Democratic and Republican Party headquarters in Washington on Jan. 6 were planted on the eve of the attack on the Capitol. The FBI is offering $100,000 for information about the crime.

A total of 135 people have been arrested in the case of the attack on the Capitol by Donald Trump supporters.
