Pashinyan: Karabakh is in danger of a humanitarian disaster

Armenia is ready for the resumption of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process in line with the statements of the Minsk Group, the Armenian prime minister said.

The threat of a humanitarian disaster has become real for Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the aggravation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani armed conflict. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this, the TOP NEWS news agency reported on Friday, October 9, and the military actions of Azerbaijan and Turkey are directed not only against Karabakh but also against Armenia, which supports this enclave, Pashinyan stressed.

According to him, Armenia is ready for the resumption of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process in line with the statements of the Minsk Group adopted in 2016.

Earlier, Pashinyan said that Armenia will recognize the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic if it helps resolve the conflict.
