Pence expected to attend Biden’s inauguration: reports

U.S. President-elect Joe Biden said he would be happy to see Vice President Mike Pence at the inauguration, but not current head of state Donald Trump.
Biden told reporters that Trump’s decision not to attend the inauguration was “a good thing.”
“We are happy to welcome Mike, the vice president, we would be honored,” Biden said.

Earlier, Trump said he would not go to the inauguration, and a spokesman for Pence said the vice president had not been invited there.
Biden’s inauguration will be held on January 20.
