A large number of places that were usually used as shelters for storm victims were previously turned into quarantine places.
Because of the typhoon Wongfong in the Philippines, more than 140 thousand people were evacuated. It is reported by AFP.
“The storm hit when tens of millions of Filipinos were at home because of the coronavirus. At least 141,700 people were forced to leave homes due to a severe storm,” the report said.
The main problem is that most of the places that were previously used as shelters for victims of difficult weather conditions were converted to quarantine places.
