Philippines earthquake: more than 400 people injured

A powerful earthquake in the Philippines has left nine people dead and injuring more than 400. This is reported by the local edition of Manila Bulletin on Tuesday, October 29.

It is noted that people died due to the fall of the wreckage of destroyed buildings and a landslide caused by the earthquake.

The tremors caused the destruction of infrastructure in different parts of Mindanao and power outages.

As of 2 p.m., seismologists had recorded 98 aftershocks of varying force.

Recall, on the morning of October 29, the U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake in the Philippines with a magnitude of 6.8. It was later downgraded to 6.6.
