If the regime in Iran thought that everything was done after President Donald Trump ordered the killing of its top Gen. Qassem Soleimani they better think again.
As people in the Islamic republic protest their leaders the president warned them that they better not even think about harming them.
“To the leaders of Iran – DO NOT KILL YOUR PROTESTERS. Thousands have already been killed or imprisoned by you, and the World is watching. More importantly, the USA is watching. Turn your internet back on and let reporters roam free! Stop the killing of your great Iranian people!” he said.
Protesters in Iran have been incensed since the regime admitted that it accidentally shot down a Ukrainian jet carrying more than 100 Iranian citizens.
The Iranian leaders wanted their protesters to chant “Death To America” and call the United States their enemy, but the people are not believing the lying regime anymore.
At one of the protests, the flags of the United States and Israel were laid on the ground for student protesters to trample. But the students took great pains to avoid walking on them.
At another protest, the people chanted “Our enemy is in Iran, not America.”
“They are lying that our enemy is America, our enemy is right here,” the group of protesters at a university in the capital city of Tehran chanted.
Iran defended itself, explaining that the shooting down of the Ukrainian jet was a “disastrous mistake” made in the fog of war.
Revolutionary Guard commander Hossein Salami, said: “We are more upset than anyone over the incident.”
“It is not a human error. This is a crime against humanity,” Reza Pahlavi, the son of the former shah of Iran, said. “Khamenei and his regime should go.”
Sadly, many in the American media and even in the Congress have echoed the Iranian talking points and have blamed President Donald Trump for the shooting of the aircraft.
“If what is being projected is true, this is yet another example of collateral damage from the actions that have been taken in a provocative way by the president of the United States,” California Rep. Jackie Speier said on CNN’s “The Situation Room.”
“I would say that the continued saber-rattling by the president doesn’t help us,” she said. “I also feel strongly that by taking out General Soleimani, that did not somehow rid us of any of the planning that the Iranians would be doing or that the Shia militia throughout the region is also engaged in doing.”
But the Iranian people are not gullible. They know the evil that is in the regime that holds them hostage and they want them gone.
Unlike when former President Obama was in the White House and the Iranians protested their regime this time, they have a president that will support them.
It is time for the good, peace-loving people of Iran to bring their nation back to its glory days. To topple the regime and become, again, a friend to the United States and the world.
