Protests against quarantine dispersed in Poland

More than 380 protesters were detained, 150 people were fined, and cases regarding the punishment of the rest were sent to court, the police used tear gas.
 
In Warsaw, the police dispersed the protesters, who demanded the lifting of quarantine restrictions on businesses, using tear gas against them, according to the Polish National Police.
 
According to the representative of the Polish police, Sylvester Marchak, more than 380 protesters were detained, 150 people were fined, and cases regarding the punishment of the rest were sent to court.
 
Five people were arrested for assaulting policemen, verbally abusing them, or damaging police property.
 
Protesters gathered on Castle Square and had to go to the presidential palace and parliament. Police immediately blocked the march, emphasizing that this mass meeting was illegal.
 
Protesters ignored this and tried to move on in groups. After that, people began to be detained.
 
Unable to get to the presidential palace and parliament, the protesters headed for the office of the ruling Law and Justice party. But the police blocked the movement and on the approaches to it.
