US intelligence report released on Tuesday
A US intelligence report released on Tuesday concluded that Russia and Iran were spreading misinformation in an effort to influence the outcome of the US elections.
This was reported to Reuters by sources familiar with the contents of the report.
The authors of the document found no evidence of attempts to change the voting results by technical means, thus refuting the unfounded allegations of ex-President Donald and his supporters about the alleged sophisticated conspiracies.
The US intelligence services found that there were other kinds of efforts – attempts to influence voters with information – in particular, from Cuba, Venezuela, and the paramilitary organization Hezbollah. However, according to sources, the penetration of state information systems of some countries into the US information space did not affect the election results.
