Citizens who live in the same apartment are allowed to go out for walks and do outdoor sports together.
Residents of Spain can leave their homes again, starting from Saturday, May 2. The country has been under strict quarantine for seven weeks due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic.
Citizens who live in the same apartment are allowed to walk together and play sports in the fresh air. This easing is part of a long-term plan by the Spanish authorities to ease restrictive measures. Earlier, on April 26, children under 14 were allowed to walk on the street for an hour accompanied by one adult.
Since March 26, Spain has had the toughest ban on leaving home in Europe. Almost 25,000 people with COVID-19 have died in this country since the beginning of the pandemic. However, the number of new fatalities has been steadily decreasing in recent days.
