Romania has a record increase in COVID-19 disease

In the past two weeks alone, 823 cases of coronavirus were detected on 3 August alone, with more than 1,000 cases reported in the rest of the day.

Medics have registered 1,378 new cases of COVID-19 in Romania in the past 24 hours, the highest number since the beginning of the epidemic in the country. This was announced on Friday, August 7, Romania-Insider. The previous record was recorded on July 30 – 1356 new cases. In the past two weeks alone, 823 cases of coronavirus were detected on 3 August alone, with more than 1,000 cases reported in the rest of the day.

A total of 59,273 cases of coronavirus have already been reported in Romania, with 35,186 recovering and 2,616 dead.

As previously reported, in Romania 10 days in a row, doctors recorded more than a thousand cases of coronavirus per day.
