Romania may recognize Russia as a hostile state

Romanian authorities may recognize Russia as a hostile state, TOP NEWS reports with reference to the country’s national draft defense strategy.

Bucharest believes that building up Russia’s military capabilities in Crimea and conducting military exercises is a challenge and poses a threat to the security of the EU and NATO borders.

The Supreme Defense Council has already approved a document that recognizes Russia as a hostile state and a threat to the region. It will come into force if it is supported by both houses of parliament.
