Bloomberg writes about Russia’s refusal to sell Iran missile defense system C400 for fear of aggravation of the situation in the Middle East, writes TG-channel “Iron curtain”.
According to journalists, the decision on it was made personally by the President of Russia. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was on a visit to Russia on may 7-8, 2019, and most likely it was then that it was finally decided to abandon the sale of the S-400.
Earlier, the deal to buy Russian S-400 by Turkey led to increased tension between Ankara and other NATO members. In total, Moscow will supply Turkey with fours-400 divisions at a price of $2.5 billion.
