Russian fighter jets have blocked an Israeli attack on Syria. This is reported by Avia.pro.
It is noted that Israeli planes planned to carry out an attack on the suburbs of Syria’s Damascus. It is emphasized that two Russian fighter jets took off from Hmeimim airbase and headed to the southeast, which actually changed Israel’s plans for strikes. In addition, according to sources, the Syrian air defense system shot down an Israeli drone.
On September 19, it was reported that Russia had given the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) permission to use S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems against Israeli aircraft.
This decision of the Russian command followed the next strikes of Israeli F-35s on Syrian territory. Under the agreement with Moscow, Israel should not resort to such measures, but in recent years the Jewish state has repeatedly violated these conditions.
