Russian prankers played on the subject of Belarus by phone with the head of the European Parliament David Sassoli.
They called him on behalf of former presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
The audio recording of the conversation was published on YouTube by the pranker Alexey Stolyarov, known as Lexus.
Prankers on behalf of Tikhanovskaya asked whether the European Parliament intended to impose sanctions against Belarus and which ones. In response, Sassoli invited Tikhanovskaya to a meeting in early October.
In addition, one of the prankers, introducing himself as Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, said that he had allegedly established an unofficial connection with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.
The imaginary “president of Lithuania” assured the head of the European Parliament that there is a conspiracy in the Belarusian government against President Alexander Lukashenko.
Its participants were allegedly ready to “topple the tyrant” to bring Tikhanovskaya to power. Mr. Sassoli considered this information “very interesting”.
Speaking about the motives behind the pranksters, Lexus ironically explained that the president of Belarus had recently published a conversation called “Nika and Mike”, “leaving us without work.
That’s why the pranksters decided to catch up and postpone their talks, but not with unknown Nick and Mike, but with the real head of the European Parliament, which is “much more interesting.
Earlier, TOP NEWS reported that in July, Prankster Lexus phoned Polish President Andrzej Duda and on behalf of the UN General Secretary urged him to pick up Lviv.
