The Falcon 9 rocket of the American company SpaceX with a communications satellite for Argentina launched from the launch site at Cape Canaveral in the U.S. state of Florida at 19:18 local time on August 30 (2:18 GMT August 31). This was reported by CBS News.

The rocket delivers the Argentine satellite SAOCOM 1B. Such images help in disaster management and sampling to measure soil moisture. The launch of this device has been repeatedly postponed before.

On August 30, it was reported that SpaceX postponed the planned launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with the 12th Starlink microsatellite group until September 1 due to adverse weather conditions.
