The approaches to the White House in Washington were blocked by military equipment

On the street, behind heavy trucks, a chain of soldiers lined up with shields that read “military police.”
In Washington on June 3, all approaches to the White House were fenced off with heavy military equipment.
Due to the unrest that has been raging for several days in the American capital, the Pentagon has deployed about 1.6 thousand military personnel in the vicinity of the city. The protests were caused by the death of a black American, George Floyd, during his detention.

Hundreds of protesters gathered near the White House. They tried to set fire to the church, got involved in brawls with the police, burned trash cans, and beat window-cases.
Now on this street put up two military trucks. Not far from the cars, a chain of soldiers lined up with shields that read “military police.” The protesters came close to the military. Some of the crowd are trying to talk to them, but they are not responding. Protesters constantly shout slogans: “There is no justice – there is no peace.” Also, people raise their hands up with a cry: “Hands up! Do not shoot!”.

Recall that four policemen on May 25 in Minneapolis detained George Floyd for trying to pay a fake check for $ 20. The black man was handcuffed on the asphalt and crushed on the neck with his knee. As a result of these actions, the detainee died. Today it became known that all four ex-police officers were charged.
