Mother’s Day was celebrated in the UK yesterday. True, because of the coronavirus pandemic, many families were separated and were unable to visit their parents. Kate Middleton congratulated all the mothers on the microblog and boasted a touching gift that her son gave her.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are the true favorites of the British, they have attracted no less attention than the older members of the royal family. Everything that the heirs of Kate Middleton and Prince William do is invariably arousing emotion from the public. So, on March 22, the Duchess of Cambridge congratulated all compatriots on Mother’s Day on a microblog and published a photo of the gift that George made for her with his own hands.
A six-year-old kid prepared an application for mom, depicting a vase with a heart in the center and gluing three large red poppies from paper. Such a touching souvenir caused a real delight among fans of Kate.
In addition to the photo of a gift from Prince George, the Duchess of Cambridge published an archive photograph in which she was barely a couple of months old: the future wife of Prince William was held in her arms by her mother Carol. Kate admitted that she was very reverent about Mother’s Day and warmly congratulated all parents, wishing families to stay together, despite the epidemic raging in the country.
“For all mothers, newly made and elderly, and families who spend time together or apart today, we think of you all in this difficult period!” – wrote Kate on the microblog.
