SpaceX is scheduled to launch for the ISS

The Elite Mask SpaceX prototype Starship rocket exploded for the fourth time during tests at the Boca Chica test site in Texas. The broadcast was conducted on the NASASpaceflight channel on YouTube.

The explosion occurred during the fire tests of the rocket engine two minutes after its launch. The rocket was completely destroyed, and its wreckage scattered around the launch pad.

This was the fourth fire test of this prototype, Techcrunch reports, previous results are unknown. SpaceX previously lost three other rocket trials during testing.

SpaceX is developing Starship to transport people and cargo to the moon and Mars. According to the developers, the launch vehicle should be fully reusable and put a payload of over 100 tons into orbit.

On Saturday evening, at the Cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral in Florida, another SpaceX rocket is scheduled to launch – the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with the Cru Dragon spacecraft. The spacecraft must deliver two astronauts to the international space station. The previous start was canceled due to inappropriate weather.
