“We are talking about the most important strategic project,” the Minister said, noting that Serbia thus “ensures a reliable supply of gas and solves the risks that have arisen before.”
“We are becoming a transit country, and this opens up new opportunities in terms of gas supply: a new gasification system, new industrial zones, the reindustrialization of the country,” the politician explained.

Recall that in April, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov said that Serbia has begun construction of its section of the “Turkish stream”, without waiting for the start of construction in Bulgaria of the gas pipeline to the Serbian border. Antich, in turn, noted that the construction is going on seven directions at once and will be completed by the end of this year.
The first branch of the Turkish stream gas pipeline will be used to supply Russian gas to Turkey, the second – to provide South-Eastern Europe.
