The Pentagon expressed concern about the latest events in the east of Ukraine

The Shas are worried about the recent events in the east of Ukraine. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, writes TASS.

“We are concerned about the recent escalation of Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine,” he said.

So he commented on the issue of telephone conversations between the Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milli, and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, First Deputy Defense Minister of Russia, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov.

Negotiations between Milli and Gerasimov took place on March 31.

Earlier, the Office of the President of Ukraine said that Kiev continues negotiations with the countries of the Normandy format, no decisions can be made without it.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine. Later, the Kremlin commented on these negotiations.
