The first phase of the Trade Deal between the United States and China covers only a fraction of the technology and security issues. They will be considered at the next stage.
Technology and cybersecurity issues will be discussed during the signing of the second part of the U.S.-China trade agreement. This was announced by U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Reuters reported on Wednesday, January 15.
Mnuchin noted that a large number of technical problems will be solved in the first phase of the trade deal, but that there are still many issues that countries will need to address in the future.
There are other certain areas of service besides financial services that will be in the second phase of the agreement. There are some additional cybersecurity issues that will be in Phase 2,” Mnuchin said.
As you know, today the White House signs the first phase of the U.S. trade deal with Kiai.
