The central regions of the Russian Federation show very high grain yields. Thus, in the Rostov and Voronezh regions and in the Krasnodar region grain yield reaches 55 centners per hectare. Attention to Russian crops drew overseas – according to Bloomberg, Russia this year will regain the leadership in grain exports.
Earlier, due to negative forecasts, the Russian authorities were more cautious about Russia’s grain supplies to world markets. However, it is now clear that the situation is developing more favorably than previously planned. According to analysts of the American edition, Russia will inevitably take the first place in the world in grain sales.
Briefly overtaking Russia, collective Europe again falls to third place – it was affected by floods and droughts. Australia will increase its exports, as will Canada. Russia will become the undisputed leader
Large amounts of Russian grain are expected to go to North Africa, the Middle East, and some Asian countries. It is likely that most of Australia’s cereals will be harvested by Asia, as Europe will not be able to demonstrate the former volumes of grain supplies to these countries due to climate disasters.
