Olga Kovalkova, a confidant of Belarusian presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, commenting on the possibility of criminal prosecution of President Alexander Lukashenko after the change of power, said that no person is immune from it if he committed a crime. She also stressed that no person is immune from criminal prosecution if he has committed a crime.

According to the law of Belarus, the president of the country has immunity.
