TikTok and WeChat banned in India

The Indian authorities banned 59 applications, including the Chinese social network Tik Tok, the UC Browser browser, the WeChat messenger, the government press service said.
The list includes applications “harmful to the sovereignty and integrity of India, the defense of India, state security and public order.” Applications – mainly developed in China – will be blocked on both mobile and other devices.
Chinese apps such as Kwai, Baidu map, Clash of Kings, Mi Community, Club Factory, UC News, Weibo, QQ Music, Mobile Legends are on the banned list.
