More than 2.6 thousand unrecorded votes were found in Georgia. Trump still has a chance to win the US presidential election.
More than 2,600 unrecorded votes were found in a county in Georgia during the U.S. recount. This was reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper on Monday, November 16.
The state explains the appearance of unrecorded votes as “technical failure”. Apparently, the scanner stopped working and read the ballots. In turn, Gabriel Sterling, a member of the Georgia Election Commission, claims that there was no malfunction and demanded that the head of the local election committee be held accountable.
The publication notes that a victory in Georgia’s state could give incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump 16 additional votes. That would narrow the gap with Joe Biden and, in theory, intercept his victory.
Let us remind tht the USA has not yet officially announced the winner of the presidential race. Votes are still counted and counted. In addition, Trump’s team seeks to cancel results in a number of states due to revealed cases of fraudulent voting.
