Trump national security adviser wants to accuse of perjury

Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn may be blamed for perjury. Federal Judge Emmett Sullivan, who has already appointed an independent expert in the case, is considering this possibility.

The expert is former federal judge John Gleeson, RIA Novosti reports. He will determine whether the court should drop Flynn’s allegations of swearing. Flynn previously admitted twice that he had given the FBI false evidence, and then tried to refuse to confess. Trump believes that the FBI agents deliberately tried to bring Flynn to a lie. Previously, the US Department of Justice refused to prosecute the former presidential adviser. Trump called this investigation “treason.” He hopes that those responsible will be punished.
