Trump’s lawyer wants to convince Zelensky to investigate Ukraine’s interference in the US election – media

Personal lawyer of the President of the United States Donald trump Rudolf Giuliani is going to fly to Kiev to meet with the President-elect of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. This was reported by the American edition of The New York Times on Friday, May 10.

As it became known to journalists, during the trip Giuliani is going to get information about the work of the son of ex-Vice President Joe Biden in the Ukrainian company Burisma Holdings, engaged in gas production. In addition, the lawyer intends to convince Zelensky to start an investigation into Ukraine’s interference in us presidential election in 2016.

Earlier in 2016, President Petro Poroshenko dismissed Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. According to journalists, the reason was his investigation against Burisma, a Board member of which was hunter Biden.

Giuliani will demand that Kiev complete the investigation. “This information will be very useful for my client, and may also be useful for the government,” the lawyer said.
