Turkey has introduced a digital code for transport and hotel accommodation

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey has sent a circular to the administrations of all provinces of the country, according to which citizens must now have a digital code to travel by public transport and to check into hotels in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the agency reports Anadolu.
Previously, the numerical code was introduced in Turkey for travel on coaches, trains, and airplanes.
It can be obtained through a mobile application. It is not given to coronavirus patients who are under quarantine or living with them. If these persons try to violate the quarantine conditions, they will be charged and hotels that do not require a digital code from customers will be closed for 10 days.
In the previous 24 hours, 1427 new infections were recorded in Turkey. As the head of the Ministry of Health Fahrettin Koca stated earlier, the coronavirus pandemic in the country has reached its second peak.
