Aliyev demands Turkey's participation in negotiations on Karabakh

The Turkish Foreign Ministry says that Azerbaijan “is fighting for the liberation of its lands” and stresses its willingness to help.
Turkey is ready to provide any support to Azerbaijan in any sphere if necessary. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said this at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday, October 6.

“Today, the Azerbaijani people are fighting for the liberation of their lands and are able to do it, they have strength and potential for this. Of course, Turkey and the Turkish people are ready to provide any support to Azerbaijan in any sphere if it needs it,” Cavusoglu said.

Recall that Aliyev demands Turkey’s participation in Karabakh negotiations. Baku demands Ankara’s participation in the conflict settlement, while Yerevan demands Turkey’s withdrawal from the Caucasus.

In his turn, Pashinyan named the condition of the ceasefire in Karabakh. Armenia is ready for a truce in the Karabakh conflict after Turkey withdraws from the South Caucasus. Erdogan speaks about an attempt to encircle Turkey.
