Twitter unblocked the account of the Russian delegation in Vienna without explanation

Twitter unblocked the account of the Russian delegation at the talks on military security and arms control in Vienna without explanation, with all followers disappearing, the head of the delegation, Konstantin Gavrilov, told RIA Novosti on Saturday.
Gavrilov earlier told Novosti that Twitter had blocked the delegation’s account without explanation on February 12. He called it an act of censorship, linking the blocking of the account to the delegation’s recent posts about NATO and military doctrines in connection with the OSCE high-level seminar. Gavrilov said the delegation would appeal to OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid in this regard.
“Twitter unblocked the account without explanation, literally 20 minutes ago. But all the followers disappeared, we will build up again. The content was kept,” said Gavrilov.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Novosti that Moscow hopes that the freezing of the Twitter account of the Russian delegation at the Vienna talks on security issues is a technical problem, a request has been sent to the social network.
