On the inauguration day, the White House institutional accounts will be transferred to the new US president.
The administration of social network Twitter intends to transfer the official account of U.S. President @POTUS Joe Biden on the day of the inauguration, regardless of the opinion of current President Donald Trump, reports The New York Post.

“Twitter is actively preparing to support the transition of the White House institutional accounts on January 20, 2021,” said the social network representative.
Other government accounts such as @VP (vice president), @FLOTUS (first lady of the United States), @whitehouse (White House) will also be transferred to the Biden administration.

Existing Trump Administration messages will be archived by the National Archives and Records Management.

Recall that earlier Trump had announced “terrible election violations” and threatened with lawsuits. The U.S. leader is sure that in some regions there were falsifications in favor of the Democrats.
Trump also told us when his victory in the elections would be obvious. He said that after the final results of the elections he will be given the victory in a number of key states, which will decide the outcome of the race.

Meanwhile, conservative Republicans are turning away from Trump. They call on him to either bring evidence of electoral fraud or recognize Biden’s victory.
