In the U.S. state of Florida during an air show, there was a plane crash, which killed the pilot of a military aircraft. This was announced by CNN the day before.

“One person was killed Friday afternoon in a plane crash at the Stewart Airshow in Florida,” National Transportation Safety Board spokesman Peter Knudson said.

According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, the crash was caused by a Grumman OV-1 Mohawk military aircraft at about 13:15 local time. The cause of the accident is not reported.

Friday was the first of three days of the Stewart Airshow in Florida. Local authorities said other events planned for the day were postponed to Saturday. Last week, two helicopters collided over a ranch in the Us state of Texas, killing two people and injuring another.

Earlier in October, a Royal Canadian Air Force CT-144 Tutor training aircraft crashed in the southeastern United States. The pilot managed to catapult.
