U.S. fails to launch spacecraft with cargo for ISS

The launch was canceled two minutes before liftoff due to emergency data from ground equipment.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) decided to cancel the launch of the Antares launch vehicle with the Cygnus spacecraft two minutes before liftoff.

The ship was to deliver 1.6 tons of equipment and 757 kg of cargo to the crew to the International Space Station.

Northrop Grumman reported that the launch was canceled due to emergency data from ground equipment.

No new launch date has been announced.
