The implementation of the Gemini project will create about 2 thousand jobs

The Donald Trump administration finally approved the largest solar project in the US and one of the largest in the world.

A $ 1 billion Gemini solar power plant will be located 48 kilometers from Las Vegas and is expected to generate 690 megawatts of electricity.

This is enough to supply electricity to 260 thousand households and annually compensate for emissions from about 83 thousand cars.

The project will create, directly or indirectly, about 2 thousand jobs and inject about 712.5 million dollars into the economy at a time when the country is trying to recover from the recession caused by the coronavirus epidemic, said Interior Minister David Bernhardt.
