U.S. President Joe Biden will not “overburden” relations with Moscow, The Washington Post reported, citing sources.
“Working with Russia, we will also try to hold Russia accountable for its reckless and aggressive actions that we have seen in recent months and years,” a senior U.S. official is quoted as saying.
It is stressed that the Biden administration is also preparing new measures against Russia. According to the newspaper, the politician will instruct the director of national intelligence to make a report on Russia.
Earlier it was reported that the administration of the new US President Joe Biden intends to extend the Treaty on Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms (START-3) for five years.
