The U.S. Supreme Court dismissed the last of three lawsuits by former U.S. President Donald Trump over the allegedly unfair victory over him by Democrat Joseph Biden. Court officials would not comment on the case, Reuters news agency reported.
The previous two lawsuits were dismissed back in February. The last rejected lawsuit concerned remote voting ballots in Wisconsin, where Biden beat Trump by more than 20,000 votes according to official results. Before the former president’s lawsuits went to the Supreme Court, they were dismissed by local courts.
In December 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court also rejected a Trump-backed lawsuit that challenged Democrat Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election. The justices found no basis for the state of Texas, which filed the lawsuit, to challenge the election results in four other states.
