Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and OSCE Chairperson Ann Linde discussed security issues in eastern Ukraine and Crimea.
The conversation took place on April 3.
“We talked today with my colleague about the security situation in and around Ukraine. As the OSCE Chair, I remain committed to respecting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as strengthening the ceasefire agreements reached in July 2020, ”Linde wrote on Twitter.
Kuleba on his Twitter said about the need for “clear and strong diplomatic signals to demotivate Moscow from further destructive steps.”
Earlier, the French Foreign Ministry and the German Foreign Ministry expressed concern about the growing number of ceasefire violations in Donbas and called on the parties to the conflict to stop the escalation.
On July 27, 2020, a complete ban on firing came into force in Donbas. The parties to the conflict should not use drones near the contact line, deploy weapons in and near populated areas, and carry out offensive and reconnaissance, and sabotage actions.
