UN thanks Putin for offering coronavirus vaccine

The UN thanks Russian President Vladimir Putin for offering the vaccine to employees, the organization’s medical services will study it, the UN General Secretary’s special representative
“We thank President Putin for his generous offer, which will be studied by our medical services,” the office told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Putin offered to provide coronavirus vaccine to UN staff free of charge.
For the first time, the high-level week of the UN General Assembly session is held in a semi-virtual format. The leaders’ speeches are being recorded because of concerns about the Coronavirus pandemic. Postponements of the states at the headquarters have the right to make live voice statements on behalf of their leaders and anticipate their speeches with the opening speech.
