Russia “brought instability” to relations with the United States. This was stated by the head of the press service of the State Department Ned Price, writes topnews
“Until now, it was the Russian government and the Kremlin that brought this instability into relations, including through malicious activity,” the diplomat said.
He specified that Washington can and will strive for stable and predictable relations.
Price noted that he “would not like to announce” what could happen if “Moscow continues to follow this road.” At the same time, he stressed that the United States made it clear that it would hold the Kremlin accountable.
“[US President Joe] Biden has made it very clear that Russia will be held accountable. President Biden is a man of his word, ”said the head of the State Department press service.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the US line towards Russia “stupid” and “dead-end”. According to him, continuing to bend this line years after the introduction of the first sanctions is pointless and does not bring any effect.
Later, the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov agreed with the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
