Ukrainians with a visa, as well as those who have been in Ukraine or another permitted country for the past two weeks, will be able to get to the United States.
The US Embassy in Ukraine explained what rules should Ukrainians adhere to, and that allowed entry into the States. An explanation was posted on Twitter on Friday, June 19th.
Ukrainians with a valid visa and staying for 14 days in Ukraine or another permitted country will be able to get to the USA. In particular, Ukrainians will not be able to get to the United States in a transit flight through the Schengen countries, Great Britain, Ireland, China, Iran, Brazil, and a number of countries that are subject to COVID-19 restrictions.
“These rules do not apply to US citizens or legal permanent residents of the USA (holders of the” green card “) who wish to go home from Ukraine,” the embassy added.
In connection with the pandemic, the United States imposed restrictions on the entry of foreigners who in the next two weeks were in countries with a significant spread of COVID-19. This list includes EU countries.
Recall that earlier Shmygal announced the beginning of the second wave of coronavirus. Today’s result with increasing incidence is a consequence of non-compliance with quarantine restrictions, the prime minister said.
It was also reported that the Ministry of Health intends to tighten quarantine controls. It is proposed to focus on the work of public transport and retail chains, where violations are most often present.
