In the U.S., Capitol Police Officer Howard Liebengood died three days after storming the building. He may have committed suicide, the Associated Press reported Monday, Jan. 11.

It is not yet known exactly whether the 51-year-old cop’s suicide is related to the Jan. 6 storming of the building by supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Liebengood’s management has not given a reason for his death.

The American had worked for the Capitol Police since 2005. Before that, his father served there.

Recall that on January 6, incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington at a rally in his support called on supporters to march to the Capitol to challenge the election results. People stormed the building and interrupted a session of Congress where Joe Biden’s victory was being approved. There were five victims of the storming.

Recall that those who stormed the Capitol were fired from their jobs. They were identified in photos and video of the scene. There are also Russian speakers among the detainees.

It was also reported that the Capitol invaders were arrested in the United States. Among the detainees, there is a man who took the Speaker of the House pulpit out of the building.
