Whole “caravan” of military transport Il-76 flew to Syria

By | August 26, 2020

According to the TV channel “Notes of the Hunter”, which monitors the flights of Russian military aviation, on the night of August 25 to 26, 2020, a whole “caravan” of heavy military transport aircraft Il-76 arrived in Syria. A large group of seven cargo boards flew to Syria’s Latakia from the chkalovsky military airfield (Sub-Moscow).

Registration numbers of six boards are recorded from the specified caravan: RFF8041, RFF8039, RFF8037, RFF8031, RFF8027 and RIF6804. Observers say such activity has not been seen for a long time. The transfer of additional forces may be related to the high probability of launching an operation to force the peace of irreconcilable jihadists in northwest Syria.

For example, the aforementioned transporters, with a capacity of up to 60 tons each, could easily send two helicopters to Syria, which are sure to be useful for bringing the militants into the senses.

We remind that the militants’ attacks on joint Russian-Turkish patrols on the section of the M4 highway on the Jisr al-Shughour-Seraqib section do not stop. At the same time, the militants continue to carry out artillery and mortar strikes on settlements adjacent to the southern part of the Idlib “de-escalation” zone. It is time to put an end to such lawlessness and bring the long-awaited peace to Syrian soil.
