World Shooting Champion Dies at 30

The famous athlete died after a serious and short illness a few weeks after giving birth at 31 years of age.
The Serbian world pneumatic pistol champion Bobana Momchilovic-Velichkovich died a few weeks after giving birth. She was 30 years old. The site of the Serbian Shooting Federation announced the death of the athlete.

It is noted that Momchilovich-Velichkovich began to engage in shooting at nine years old.

She won her first medal as a junior at the European Championships in 2007. The athlete also won the gold of the 2014 World Cup in team shooting with an air gun at a distance of 10 meters. In her piggy bank of victories – eight gold, two silver and three bronze medals of the European Championship.
